The Deep Blue Fly series, offers the travelling fly fisher serious performance when playing large powerful fish in harsh conditions. Not just another fly rod, painted blue & called "saltwater". These are purpose designed with steeper tapers and thicker blank walls, to cope with powerful saltwater species. The new 2010 range has been completely re-designed, with lighter, faster, more responsive blanks and use the Pacific Bay, patented Channel Lock lightweight aluminium reel seats. These are undoubtedly the best on the saltwater scene, locking up effortlessly and providing all-day confidence.

Our models feature twin bottom stripping rings. A method practiced by many Cape Cod 'Striper' fisherman, the addition of a second stripper ring, just above the first, has proven to 'tame' that first coiler faster, as it snakes through the bottom guide, allowing faster line speed and extra distance.
